Welcome to our Beautiful Dining Room based in Mapperley Park, Nottingham
Masala Junction is Amita Sawhney’s second restaurant, and the culmination of everything we’ve learned, both in terms of food and design. Her other restaurant, MemSaab on Maid Marian Way also leads the food scene in Nottingham, winning numerous local and national prizes for Food, Service and Design.

Our Food
We want diners to experience something exciting and flavourful that reflects our aim of offering honest, home style cooking in a relaxed, refined environment with friendly service from people who love what they do. The menu is inspired by dishes we enjoyed growing up whilst celebrating special occasions and it also offers a very warm insight in to the food scene of our most
favourite cities, that we like to frequently visit. Try our special family recipe and a firm favourite, Junction Goat Ka Salan. There's also Dish of the Day specials such as Tika tak, named from the spatula hitting the griddle and slicing up the food as it cooks, a sound often heard on the street food scene of the Indian sub continent.

The Taste
Our carefully selected, talented team of chefs specialise in honest, homestyle Indian food. They even use a traditional clay oven (tandoor) for our wide variety of tasty grilled dishes and fresh naans. A tandoor cooks through evenly, its contained environment gets extremely hot within its insulated walls, creating a flavour impossible to replicate.

Group Dining
We cater for private celebrations, dinners and corporate events of all kinds. Our private dining room seats 30 and 45 standing for a cocktail reception. The main restaurant seats up to 55. We work with you to cater for your special occasions and all dietary and allergy requirements can be catered for.
